This 300 year old family built chateau has survived the French revolution and both world wars. Both gatehouses look onto an enclosed courtyard which provides a sheltered area to enjoy the sun or to eat. The largest cottage is the Wing which has a double aspect , looking onto both the courtyard and the garden. It has a large inglenook fireplace with log burner, original bread oven, and exposed beams. To the rear of the chateau are the extensive gardens with a lawned area ideal for children to play and other areas to explore. The nearest village is Thiembronne, a pleasant 5 minute downhill stroll away.
